Machinery
With a fully equipped machine shop with CNC and conventional turning and milling, including 4th axis, we can
take your drawings through to finished components with the aid of our in house full 3D CAD modelling and
machining system.
We also have the ability to import your CAD files in any format e.g. step, igs, parasolid, dxf etc. into our
system. We can then create machining programmes for manufacture on our CNC machines by our team of skilled
engineers to your specific requirements. Due to our main years of experience in many fields, we can help with
development of prototypes, cost saving and advice. We are experience in all types of engineering materials e.g.
steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, titanium, plastics etc. and are happy to work on one-offs,
through to batch quantities.
Fabrication
Trent Aero Engineering Limited (TAEL) is a dynamic company based on the skills and knowledge of an exceptional
workforce with a fully equipped facility with modern equipment; details are produced by laser cutting, working
to a very close tolerance, making intricate shapes a simple task. TAEL manufacture simple details through to
complicated assemblies from various types of materials for the Aerospace Industry e.g. aluminium, stainless
steel, mild steel etc. to more exotic materials such as titanium and nimonics. We also have the capabilities to
manufacture formed parts e.g. ribs by a stretching and shrinking methods of manufacture and with the back-up
system of sub contractors, TAEL can produce the complete part for our customers.
TAEL have a team of welders who are trained up to NADCAP and Rolls Royce standards with the ability to weld most
materials which covers the needs of the industry
Production
Our workshop is equipped with the latest machinery for conventional turning, milling and drilling. We have the
ability to work from CAD models and electronic files to meet customer requirements.
